Torque Brewing

Torque Brewing, a craft brewery in Winnipeg, Manitoba, came to us with the request to revamp their identity and beer can packaging. They were seeking a brand that was brave, ambitious, while rooted with authenticity. The resulting identity included grids, bold typographic treatments and design elements, reminiscent of a vintage garage aesthetic. We approached the packaging system in a way that was modular, interchangeable and most of all identifiable as Torque.

Our team at Tétro Design relied on a signature vertical wordmark and boilerplate, paired with colour to differentiate between the multitude of core beers. We extended the brand to include an original, own-able visual language with many design components that reinforced Torque’s core brand attributes.
